A hedgehog wanna-be

There were lots of great platformers on the Mega Drive. Awesome Possum was not one of them. Sadly, this is definitely a platformer to forget!

Sonic’s influence is felt as soon as you start playing, but the game doesn’t feature any of the finesse that made the Sonic games so much fun. With slippery controls and awkward level design, this game suffers from a serious case of ‘Bubsy-itus’!

This is especially true when it comes to Awesome Possum himself. The developers were clearly enamoured with digitized voices and the results are not great.

He never… ever… EVER shuts up!
