What is this website?

This is the official website for the Blast Processing channel. I will be publishing additional bits and pieces here that don’t fit on Youtube, like long-form articles and written interviews. I’ll also post new episodes here with any additional information that doesn’t suit the Youtube format.

Who is this ‘Nick Barkl’ character?

That’s me! I’m an actor and video editor from Sydney, Australia. As well as video games, I love jazz music, bad movies and basketball.

Blast Processing is generally a solo project – I write the scripts, record the voiceovers and edit the videos myself. If you want to know more about the channel or get involved, you should get in touch with me.

Occasionally I will pull in some of my talented friends to help out on larger videos, such as the Ghostbusters special 3-part series that we shot in 2016.

What does Blast Processing mean, anyway?

You should be ashamed of yourself. Read this article from Sega Retro and get educated!
