Christmas in Gotham
Christmas means different things to different people. To some, it means good food and gift-giving with friends and family. If you prefer something a little less ‘Chevy Chase’, then check out Konami’s take on the classic Michael Keaton film. Batman Returns is not your typical Christmas fare, but it’s certainly unique!
Konami’s take on the Caped Crusader involves a combination of different gameplay types. Sometimes you will be playing a beat-em-up, but then the scene will change and you will have to face a platforming section. At one point, you even get to drive the Batmobile! All of this is presented in a very slick package, with nice music and a rich colour palette. It may lack a two-player mode, but Batman Returns is still a fantastic game to add to your Christmas Day routine.
Within moments of starting, you’ll find out exactly how much fun it is to toss enemies aside and watching them slam into the backdrop.
