Ducks with mallets

There are some days when you just want to sit down and play a simple, honest-to-goodness platformer. This is one game that fits that bill nicely. Mickey Mouse may the the king of Disney, but this game gives Donald Duck his time to shine. If you ever wanted a game to show off the strengths of the Master System, this is definitely one of them. The Lucky Dime Caper showcases some of the best animation of any 8-bit title.

Alongside the gorgeous graphics, the gameplay is simple but tight. The controls are about as good as you can get for a platformer and the bouncy music is a real treat. A traditional platform game through-and-through, this game will give you the same warm and fuzzy feeling that you get when you switch on the Saturday morning cartoons on the weekend.

When it comes to platformers on the Master System, one of the best has to be The Lucky Dime Caper, starring Donald Duck.
