Our journey to madness and beyond

Luke and I have played many games over the years. Darkest Dungeon may be the single most brutal and unforgiving one of them all.

This is a game where you recruit heroes of different classes, then take small parties of them into increasingly more dangerous missions. Don’t get too attached to anyone in this playthrough. When a hero dies, they are gone and need to be replaced. There is a definite XCOM-esque vibe to the rhythm of the game, as you are frequently recruiting new members and trying to sort the wheat from the chaff.

How to watch

You can watch the playthrough using the playlist below or on Youtube.

Luke and I started this playthrough while Darkest Dungeon was still in Early Access, so don’t be surprised if notice a lot of differences if you’ve play it recently.

Darkest Dungeon is a very long game, so do not expect to see a conclusion to our journey any time soon. If you really want to see a full run, I recommend checking out FilthyRobot’s Youtube channel.

This is a single player game, so Luke Stevens is behind this playthough. I’m just along for the ride to provide basic hints and laugh at his misfortune!
